Derrick White Leads Celtics to Victory Over Heat with Clutch Performance

The Boston Celtics defeated the Miami Heat 119-111 on Friday night, thanks to a clutch performance by their point guard Derrick White. White scored 14 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter, including a spectacular chase-down block on Jimmy Butler that electrified the crowd. White also added six rebounds, three assists, and three blocks in 36 minutes of action.

White, who was acquired by the Celtics from the Spurs in February, has been a steady presence for the team, providing leadership, defense, and playmaking. He said he was grateful for the confidence and trust that his teammates and coaches have given him. “Credit to those guys, just giving me confidence and trusting me that I’m gonna try to make the right play each and every time,” White said.

The Celtics improved to 3-1 with the win, while the Heat fell to 2-2. The Celtics will face the Knicks on Sunday, while the Heat will take on the Magic on Monday. For more details and highlights of the game, you can visit this link.
